Emporium

Schots Home Emporium is a Melbourne institution. Their Hoddle St (Clifton Hill) showroom is iconic to most Melbournians but the true treasures are inside. Their commitment to craftsmanship and handcrafted treasures is unmatched and nearly 50 years from their beginnings they are still a family-run business.

Schots came to me with a brief to help them unify their marketing within the complexities of their business: both online and retail, across many product categories and brands. Working alongside their internal team for over 12 months, I have helped clarify their position and messaging, align their marketing across email, social and paid.

What I Did

  • Full marketing audit

  • Competitor analysis

  • Full marketing strategy development (brand, organic social, paid social, email marketing)

  • Meta ad strategy, creative, optimisation and reporting

  • Email marketing campaign sends and automation strategy

  • Consulting on organic social content

  • Assisting the team on co-promotions and influencer marketing

This was a full Strategic Partnership Retainer model where I work with the Schots team from strategy to ongoing implementation. We started with a full strategy development and on an ongoing basis I moved into running Meta ads and email marketing. I also work with the Schots internal team on other marketing projects and in a consulting capacity.

The Vision for the Project

“ ‍She Gives Gold-StandardAdvice Upfront, is Generous With Her Time, and Always Has a Solution to Whatever We Throw at Her.

“Andrea has been a pleasure to work with from day one. She built us an in-depth strategy that genuinely understood our brand and all its complexities, then stayed on to help with handover and set us up for success. She's also assisted with content along the way, and we're now feeling more organised and on top of things than ever, results aside.

She gives gold-standard advice upfront, is generous with her time, and always has a solution to whatever we throw at her. She's responsive, true to her word, and consistently brings creative ideas that work within our budget and timeframes. Over the past 12 months she's helped us unify and sharpen our marketing across every channel.”
